“I hope a guy never proposes to me in front of Cinderella’s castle. After working at Disney World, I found out that there are at LEAST 5 proposals in front of that castle a day, so it would be really unoriginal and meaningless. In fact, I don’t want him to propose to me at Disney World at all; but if he does, I’d love for him to propose in front of Cinderella’s fountain outside of Castle Couture, at night. It’s so beautiful and it’s the one part where Cinderella’s not in her ball gown with her hair up. It’s very precious to me.”
I dunno if I believe the AT LEAST 5 times a day thing. I can imagine maybe 1. But I’m also a Cast Member and I go there often enough that you think I would have seen more proposals in all my time. I guess I could agree about it seeming unoriginal but it’s very special to me for many reasons. Walt Disney World is the reason I’m alive and the reason my current boyfriend and I are together. It gave me challenges made me stronger and inspired new dreams. I wouldn’t mind be proposed to in any Disney Park. I don’t care where I get proposed to as long as it’s with the man I love. But of course something super special would be nice. :)
THEY STOLE MY DREAM
it’s only meaningless...it doesn’t mean something...because...
Actually, neither am I, generally. But it worked … obviously. :-)
While I’m not a fan of public proposals, I think your story is adorable considering your history with Disney and all :)
sounds romantic but, its over done. For Disneyland i suggest...court of angels or snow...
oh wow, someone had the proposal...I wanted..now its deemed unoriginal and undesirable. Oh...
I agree. I always thought it would be really cute to have a guy propose to me in Cinderella’s Castle, until I saw a guy...
Wow, my fantasy is now ruined.
hundreds of thousands of people get proposed to in random places every day. houses. restaurants. parks. fountains. you...
